Getting Started Guide: Dashboard

After logging in to your website in Eden Platform the first screen you will encounter is the Dashboard. Think of the dashboard as your administrative home page. If you ever get lost you can always click on the dashboard link at the top of the page to return to the dashboard.

The dashboard contains a lot of important information about your website including:

• News about recent updates to Eden Platform
• Contact information for your Account Representative
• The number of recent pageviews your website has received
• The number of recent unique visitors to your website
• A list of your most visited web pages
• Your current optimization score
• A list of off-site events that might have affected website traffic

First, familiarize yourself with the News and Announcements. You can click the checkbox to the left of any entry to hide it from view. It will remain hidden unless the checkbox is clicked again.



Below News and Announcements you'll see a chart of your site's visitor activity and events for the past month. In this chart you'll see lines that represent the number on pageviews your website has received as well as your optimization score over time.

You'll also find a list of the Top Visited Pages within your website with a number of pageviews and an optimization score shown for each. To the right of Top Visited Pages you'll see a count of your recent Unique Visitors. The Unique Visitor count represents visitors who may have visited your website multiple times within the recent period only once.

The Dashboard also serves as a navigational nexus for the rest of Eden Platform. At the top of the screen you will see the complete list of Eden Platform modules that are available for your use.



Common modules include:

• Authentication
• Files
• Optimization
• Pages
• URLs
• Users

To make changes to your website within each module simply click on the module name at the top of the page.

We will cover each of these modules within this guide.

Also, you may upgrade your account to include additional advanced modules within Eden Platform at any time.

Common advanced Eden Platform modules include:

• Albums & Slideshows
• Calendars
• Event Registration
• News & Events Listings
• Video
• Forms
• Testimonials
