How to push your Eden sitemap to Google

In my recent blog post, I talked about sitemaps and why they are important to SEO.  Here are detailed instructions on how to push your Eden sitemap to Google after you take your site live.

1. Login to your Eden account.

2. From the Dashboard, click the "My Domains" button.

3. In the field titled "Add a Domain", type in the domain you'd like to add (this will typically be the domain you want to use for your site).

4. Click the "Make Primary" button next to the domain after you have added it to the list of active domains.

5. A red box will then appear notifying you that the sitemap is ready to be pushed (see screenshot below).

You're all set!  Now, every time you make changes or add additional pages to the site, Google and the other search engines will be notified and you will ensure that your site is up to date and relevant in the search engine result sets.
