Broadwick Corp., providers of the leading permission email marketing software product IntelliContact, today announced they have sent their 250 millionth spam-free email message. IntelliContact, which passed the 2500 client milestone earlier this month, allows clients to create, send, and track permission-based email newsletters. The software only allows its clients to send emails to subscribers who have requested to receive them and ensures that no client sends out spam, which can hurt their ability to get client messages to recipient inboxes, through its proprietary Pre-emptive Spam Protection Program. In business since 2003, Broadwick is today sending 1 million permission-based email messages each day for IntelliContact clients.

Out of the first 250 million email messages the company has sent, they report a 15.6% open rate and a 2.4% click-through rate. They note that open and clickthrough rates vary based on industry and the quality of relationship senders have with their subscribers. The eighteen-employee company is led by 21 year-old CEO Ryan Allis. Allis notes, “We are excited to have hit the 250 million email milestone.
